Here are Ionizer and Charlene Ray children from Mark McInerney II's future. Boris Ionescu aka Irradiator, Bela Ionescu aka Detonator and Valeria Ionescu aka Sonique. After the Wanderers' last mission, Anton Ionescu finally recovered his human form after 100 failed attempts. But he lost his powers permanently. His enemy Deathwave died from cancer, due to a lifetime with his sound-powered aura. Anton moved to Zakaria, where he was the first democratically elected president in this country's story. Charlene's sight is now restored, thanks to the advanced medical technology.

Sonique's hair is inspired by Cyclone from JSA.

Along with Stargirl, she is one of my comic book crushes.

I see. Mine's Power Girl, as evidenced by nearly all of my female characters.

Thanks a lot, Chiron!

I always wanted to use my old Card Queen design in a McInerney female.

Charm inherited her mother's hotness. But Saturnian Spellcaster still keep her stunning good looks in the future.

Madison McInerney isn't called Charm for nothing. Maybe her powers are her feminine charms.

Nice! I envisioned the Saturnians of the Earth-Luna reality as being extremely long-lived, so I always thought she'd remain pretty much the same for decades to come.

Here is Jade Ankh aka Reiner Kyle, a young egyptology student from Zenith, Maine. Reiner's partner and girlfriend Jennilyn DeWitt was murdered by tomb raiders, and her corpse was thrown to the Nile river and eaten by crocodiles. The former Jade Ankh Jordan Hall was nearby, fighting the fight of his life against the Sinister Sphinx, Jordan's former mentor and now greatest enemy. After a hard-fought battle, Sinister Sphinx delivered his final blow, bringing his one-time student Jade Ankh's career to an end. Jordan gave his ankh a final order. Just before his life force was forever lost, the ankh converted Jordan Hall's form to pure energy and used him to recharge its battery. After failing to protect his dear Jennilyn, Reiner hated himself and attempted to throw his body in the same river which took his lady love's life. The ankh saved Reiner from committing suicide, because inside his heart there is an unending thirst of justice and punishing all kinds of evil. Thanks to the ankh, Reiner learned that these tomb raiders were Sinister Sphinx's henchmen. So, Sinister Sphinx was responsible of his dear Jennilyn's terrible fate. It was a very good reason to replace the fallen Jordan Hall as the new Jade Ankh.

Incredible work on Jade Ankh, brother! Do I see a little of Doctor Fate and Hawkman in his creation?

Yes!

And Firestorm, because I envision Jordan Hall as a "floating head" advisor, like Martin Stein to Ronnie Raymond.

The ankh on Reiner Kyle's chest it's the center of his power, because it houses a fraction of Osiris' spirit. Jade Ankh can emit bolts of mystical energy, teleport across the universe, craft solid objects out of energy, and transform objects into other kinds. And of course, he is an accomplished sorcerer, one of the few beings who can rival Doctor Nemesis.

Firestorm? Of course!

It's good to have another practitioner of good magic among the CU's heroes. For a long time, it was just Doctor Nemesis and a few "civilian" sorcerers. Good job, Mister M., as always.
