Testing the waters...
All my work is done in Heromachine with mods and post production done in Paint and Microsoft Picture it 9.
First, the full-size version of my avatar. This is the standard uniform for the Brotherhood of Mutants in an RPG I created this character for.
Code Name: ShadowDemon
Real Name: Steven Richard "Steve" Donovan
Age: 15 (nearly 16)
Ht: ~6'1"
Wt: ~190lbs (I stink at estimating weights, he's well built but not bulky)
Hair: black
Eyes: green
Power Type: Mutant
Powers: Steve is a Darkforce user, similar to Cloak and Darkstar. He can use his power to fly, cast shields, force bolts, and blend into existing shadows. He can also use his power to attack the psyche of another person, making them experience all of their "inner darkness" over and over.
Steve believes "The Darkness" to be a sentient thing, despite being repeatedly told by others that it is merely amplifying and personafying his own inner turmoil. His greatest fear is that someday it will "get away from him", and hurt someone it shouldn't. On his
worst days, he fears the day he
letsit get away from him.
History: Steve was orphaned at the age of 11 when his parents were killed in a car accident. He was sent to live with his father's relatives.
At the age of 12, his powers first manifested when he was confronted by 3 gang members on the way home from school. Outnumbered and scared, he instinctively unleased the Darkness upon them and ran. (Their soul-rending shrieks of fear and anguish still haunt his dreams.)
Fearing he would hurt someone else, Steve made it home, grabbed his guitar and a bag of clothes and the money he had on hand, and disappeared into New York City. He made his way as a "busker" (street musician), and by doing a few "pick up" gigs with local bands.
Three years later, he was discovered and at first recruited by Prof Charles Xavier for his Institute in Bayville (this is set in an alternate Evo-verse). He quickly found himself (along with his friend and fellow new recruit Chance Fortunato) on an undercover mission to infiltrate Magneto's Brotherhood of Mutants.
Recently, it was discovered that Charles Xavier was far from being the kindly figure he portrayed himself to be. A final confrontation between the two teams resulted in Xavier disappearing and Magneto assuming his place as Headmaster of the Institute.
