Genre Amaglam Game

There is a Comic out there called Sam Noir that mixes the Samurai genre and the Noir-Detective genre. I love it, it's in black and white with a running narration. It's a geekgasm for me.

This got me thinking, what other genres would go well together? What better game?

Here's how it goes:
Samurai/Noir
Noir/Western

Now what you need is a name for the main character based on the Genres and a short blurb if you can think of one.

Ex.
Noir/Western

Marshal Black:
A disgraced Texas Marshal has turned into the town drunk but it's amazing how many people think that drunk means blind. Now he's knows more than he should and no one will listen to the town drunk. The only way to save the day is to put down the bottle and pick up his six-shooter.

Western/Horror.

Shamless plug, I admit. But there's a number of Country songs with a horrific theme such as Ghost Riders in the Sky or The Devil Goes Down To Georgia. I chose the former. I shan't give too much away or it kills the story.

Mathias Scratch: An old Western Outlaw, he received a warning from the Ghost Riders, bound forever to chase the Devil's Herd about the endless sky. Unless he wished to meet a similar fate, he must mend his ways. Mathias passed out and awoke the next day to find a US Marshall had caught up with him after his latest bank robbery. He murdered the Marshall in cold blood and found The Devil watching. Striking a bargain to save himself the fate of the Ghost Riders, he is condemned to find 666 of the world's most vile and horrid souls and cast them into Hell, or suffer his dark curse for all eternity.

Neat idea. Here's mine.

Horror/Gladiators

Clovus the Black: A gladiatorial champion who's better days have passed him, Clovus the Black knows he only has one last battle in him. Fortunately, that last battle will take place at The Epoca, an annual event that brings out all of Rome`s political leaders. Little does Clovus know that his last battle will be legendary, as he reluctantly leads the charge against an invading force of monstrous werewolves, created and sent by Celt shaman to kill Rome`s leaders.

Gladiators/Slasher

Slasher Throw-Down: Gauntlet
Gauntlet was once a young man who dreamed of becoming a professional Mixed Martial Arts Champion. That was before his heart was cut out while camping with his girlfriend on a haunted lake. Now he has come back from the dead with revenge on his mind and now it's nightmare versus nightmare in this heavyweight match and this is just the first round.

Slasher/Fantasy

Tickety Boo, the Jester King:

Once, in an absurdly magical realm of fun and excitement ran by magic weilding Jesters, Tickety Boo was king amongst the clowns. Yet even in a society based upon laughter and fun, there can be trouble. Children would often flock from the other kingdoms to Tickety Boo's realm, and he would turn them back over to their parents with kind words of encouragement and gifts of magical novelties and tasty treats. Yet one young prince did not wish to return. He grew jealous of Tickety Boo's realm. Under the cover of the night, he snuck back into the Jester King's court and murdered him. Realising what he had done, he fled the kingdom, only to find that Tickety Boo yet lived...after a fashion. Forever bound to the magic of his kingdom, Tickety's soul has become twisted and dark. He lures unsuspecting travelers in, and subjects them to a nightmarish and pervertedly absurd death. His laughter can be heard for miles.

Futuristic/Musical

Mokiztos Mephisto:

In the year 2107, music has become such an intrinsic part of every day society that all things now relate towards it. All things play the latest top 40, emails are automatically composed into song and given an appropriate tempo given the subject (the default is soft rock or hip hop). Politics are now governed by whomsoever sells the most albums and the geopolitical climate has been radically altered according to the most popular musical genre of a given region. In what was once Scandinavia, now renamed Nifelhelm, Mokiztos is the greatest Death Metal performer and absolute monarch.

Despite his fearsome countenance and hard rocking music, he is actually a kind and fair leader, wisely evaluating his people's wants against their needs. Poverty and suffering are unheard of in Nifelhelm and the only crimes are related to public drunkeness and moshing at concerts, but even those laws have been relaxed so long as nobody gets seriously injured or puts themselves at risk. Mokiztos lives in a large gothic castle with his wife, son, and daughter and enjoys zombie movies and racing video games.

Sports/Post Apocalyptic

Flesh Bowl:

It has been fifteen years since Plague Day, when the dead stopped dying and began feasting on the flesh of their neighbours. Humanity has consolidated its efforts and the communities that have survived have sought out other pockets of civilization, effectively rebuilding the world. Maglines, Solar power, and protective domes have made the worlds clean as well as something that resembles Japanese Anime or a 1960's City of the future. Any signs of the plague are quarentined immediately. There's just one problem.

People get bored.

Unbeknownst to the public at large, some city officials have been earning extra funds in dangerous and highly illegal games dubbed "Flesh bowls". Using sports arenas in Wasteland Red Zones, teams compete to play a game of football in a field swarming with the hungry dead. It's brutal, it's lethal, it's sadistic...it's pretty GD entertaining.

Comedy/Crime:

The Second Bullet:

Benito Muccione was a bumbling Mafia goon who only earned his position by being the nephew of Don Galdano's chief enforcer Vito "The Shovel" Muccione. As such, he was always given the easiest missions. One day, while fetching calzones for the Galdano family's top sniper, he unwittingly blows the whistle on the man set to take out rival Don Gucci during a meeting of the two crime lords. Always out to cover his own hide, Benito took the shot.

The good news is he actually hit something.

The bad news he hit the wrong Don.

Now Benito has to find a way to take down Don Gucci, protect his Family, and cover up his mistake. Think Weekend at Bernies meets The Godfather.

The Great Dwarf Caper:

Greenleaf Half-Elvin owes a lot of the wrong types a lot of money. Goblins, orcs, trolls, and even a necromancer or two. The only way that he can pay all his debts and retain his soul is to break into the vast Dwarfish vaults located in the heart of their largest mine. Here's hoping that his wizard friend doesn't botch a luck spell.

Political Satire/ CGI Family

The Great Cheese Debate
Two families of mice are electing who will control the cheese in the town. Do they go with the good looking but dumb one? The overquailified war monger? Or should Mixie the janitor give it a go? Part Animal Farm, Part Flushed Away and all fun.
